How Do You Switch Between Personal and Brand Pages?

You may have heard the news� Google Plus now offers businesses a chance to get in on the action with �Brand� pages. I was among the first to try out this new feature by going
to https://plus.google.com/pages/create � I created the MyTricksTime page. It immediately said that I was now signed in and using Google Plus as that page:

I pressed OK, did a few things, and then signed out. When I returned, I came back in as my normal Goole Plus account. But I was dumbfounded� How on earth was I to switch back to my brand page? The answer isn�t that obvious, as there is only one small place that you can switch between, and it isn�t where you�d think it would be. I had assumed it would be in settings, but it�s not.

It�s the Timeline�

You have to be in your home timeline, circled below, and then click on the really small arrow under your name.

When you switch, be aware that you will be commenting and using Google Plus as that page, so if you want your own identity back make sure to go back to the home timeline for that page, and switch back to �You.�

Google introduces Android 5.0 Lollipop

After months of speculation on what dessert would take on the �L� name for Android 5.0, Google has announced it will be called Lollipop.
The latest version of Android has over 5,000 APIs and a new design approach called Material Design that is supposed to create a consistent feel across multiple devices including gadgets running Android Wear and vehicles equipped with Android Auto. The mobile operating system was previewed at Google I/O in June.
Google says that Lollipop is, �made for a world where moving throughout the day means interacting with a bunch of different screens�from phones and tablets to TVs. With more devices connecting together, your expectation is that things just work.�
The Material Design element has a more flat approach to the look on Android with bolder colors typography. Google also says that the UI is more responsive and intuitive with natural motions and realistic lighting elements including shadows.
Battery life on devices running Lollipop will be extended up to 90 minutes according to Google. A huge win anyone that has to recharge their smartphone multiple times a day.
Lollipop will be released to the public on Friday October 17. The first devices running the updated operating system will be the Nexus 9 tablet, Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 smartphones and the Nexus Player set-top box.
