How to Speed up Nokia Phone Modem

Many of you may use Nokia Phone to connect yourself to internet. Which uses 2G or 3G.
This trick will help you in boosting the Internet speed of your Nokia Phone Modem by 100%.




  • Connect your Nokia Phone modem to your PC and connect it to internet by using One Touch Access of Nokia PC suit.
  • OTA status of the Nokia modem will be opened. Click on the Properties.
  • Select Configure option from the Properties window.
  • This will open up the Modem Configuration window.
  • Select the Maximum speed available in the Maximum speed option.
  • And press OK to save the settings.
  • Now Disconnect the Internet connection and Reconnect it to avail more speed.

Click on the computer activity icon which is similar to my-computer icon and will be blinking off and on. and will be placed on your task-bar.

Setting location based reminders is very simple in android. The app is integrated with Google Maps and you can just tap a location on the map to set a reminder when you are around that place. You can create one-time alerts or configure it to repeat on particular days

The workflow is very easy. You send an SMS command from a friend�s phone to your own phone in a given format and the app reacts accordingly. For example, a command like �ringer� would turn on the ringer while �silent� would put the phone to silent mode. The best feature of this app is it helps you retrieve your missed calls list or your incoming text messages via, you got it right, SMS. Here�s a complete list of SMS commands that you can try on your Android phone:

Create Animated GIFs on Android

If you want to share movies from your Android phone, making and sharing a quick animated GIF instead is definitely a better option than sharing the whole movie because it will consume a lot of your monthly bandwidth. An animated GIF can be made using GIF Droid. A video can be taken and turned into an animated GIF that you can send to anyone in seconds.


  • Instructions:
  • First install GIF Droid from the Android Market, and then open the application (app).
  • Click Select Video button. This will open your gallery to select a video. OR Click Record Videobutton. This will open your phone camera to record a video.
  • The section of the video you want to convert into an animated GIF can be chosen through sliding thegrey bars at the start and end. Now click the Next button present at the extreme end of the screen.
     
       
  • To reduce the size of animation through cutting out unwanted sections, select frames from the video you would like to use. Now click on the Create GIF button at the extreme right end of the screen to pin down the project.

  • Preview your GIF and share by hitting the Share button (which is the second last button on the left side of the screen). 
  • You can also rename the GIF by clicking the Rename button (which is the second last button on the right side of the screen).
  • You can make another GIF by tapping the Create another button from the extreme right end of the screen.
  • You can even delete the one you just made by pressing the Delete GIF button from the extreme left end of the screen.

Samsung Corby is really a cool series from Samsung mobile phone and some of the models are having some unknown and never said secrets which are really surprising and a lot interesting. I want to share some secrets with you today. First we will go with basic codes and after that we will get into real action.

We Start with the basic secret code which is common for all mobile phones
  1. *#06#  � This will show the IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identity) number of the mobile phone.
  2. *2767* 5282# � This will reset the Java Application (It Deletes All Java Midlets which are installed in your phone)
  3. #*7728# � This is a master reset code which will not delete any thing from your mobile but will set everything to factory default settings when it was on the time when we bought at the time of purchase.
  4. *#9998*3323# � This code is used to unlock the samsung corby to all networks. It needs some explanation which i have written in another post.
